Coving types and sizes
The most common type of coving is paper covered plaster coving in either a 'C' or 'S' shaped profile. However, Coving is also available in plaster, timber, polyurethane and expanded polystyrene and is available in a variety of sizes. The most commonly used coving sizes are 90mm and 127mm.

What is the difference between coving and cornice?
Coving is usually a plain concave or an ‘S’ shape which is known as Ogee whereas Cornice is more intricate and comes in hundreds of unique styles and sizes.
